The ICRER 2027 Conference Dinner will be held at The Terrace, a light-filled venue set among the greenery of Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens, with views across the ornamental lake and the city skyline beyond. It is the signature social evening of the conference — good food, good company and one of Melbourne’s most beautiful settings.

Enter via Bridge Gate, Alexandra Avenue & Anderson Street
By public transport

From the CBD, take a tram south along St Kilda Road (routes 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 or 72) and alight near the Shrine of Remembrance or Domain Interchange, then walk to the Gardens’ Anderson Street entrance. Alternatively, train to Flinders Street Station and continue by tram or a scenic walk along the Yarra. Allow around 20–30 minutes from the conference hotel.

By Uber or taxi

Set your destination to “The Terrace, Royal Botanic Gardens” and ask to be dropped at the Bridge Gate entrance on the corner of Alexandra Avenue and Anderson Street. The trip from the Melbourne CBD is short — typically 10–15 minutes depending on traffic. A short, well-lit walk into the Gardens leads to the venue.
